WELCOME TO THE DUNSTABLE LEARNING CENTRE

WE OFFER TUTORIAL SERVICES

Dunstable Learning Centre provides Maths and English tuition for Primary to GCSE level pupils at an affordable rate.

We also offer Science, Creative writing, Business and ICT for KS3 to A levels.

One of our teachers is an EAL (English as an additional language) specialist. She is available on Saturdays for one to one tuition with your child. One to one tuition starts from £25 per hour.

Our teachers are PGCE Secondary qualified with up to date DBS certificates for your peace of mind. When you first arrive at the Centre, your child will be offered an assessment which costs only £10 so that we can correctly determine their learning requirements and to tailor their lessons.

We offer a range of tuition packages at a discounted rate and we also run Pay As You Go lessons at £20 an hour, a minimum of 7 lessons must be booked in advance.

We have two modern teaching spaces which include several laptops and computers. As a learning centre, we pride ourselves on our small groups of pupils (no more than 5 pupils at a time per teacher) with an emphasis placed on written work.

Assessment feedback is given on a regular basis both to pupils and parents alike.

WE HAVE A PROCESS

WHAT'S IT LIKE

When you first arrive at the Centre, your child will be offered an assessment which costs only £10 so that we can correctly determine their learning requirements and to tailor their lessons.

We have two modern teaching spaces which include laptops and computers. As an excellent learning centre, we pride ourselves on our small groups of pupils (no more than 5 pupils at a time per teacher) with emphasis placed on written work. Our pupils are inspired to learn, achieve and succeed.

Feedback is given after every lesson to pupils and parents alike. Assessment for learning takes place all the time as there is interaction between the teacher and the pupil.

Homework is set every lesson and feedback given once the work has been marked and accessed by the teacher.
